Checking in went fine other than the girl (and I do mean girl) at the front desk was not very welcoming and as she gave us directions to our room she had her hand in front of her mouth and mumbled so it was next to impossible to understand her. We ended up walking around the hotel trying to find our room. The setup of the hotel was goofy and the "you are here" maps made absolutely no sense because they made it look like our room was in a separate building. The room was fairly nice. We got a jacuzzi room. The price of the room however; very reasonable. Bartender wasn't the greatest. Less than a handful of people in the hotel bar and had to wait for drinks. Continental breakfast wasn't very impressive. Overall our stay was pretty ok.
The room was nice. The said breakfast was not so nice. There wrre only a waffer makers or toast for "hot" food. There is need for replacement of the waffle dispenser instead of using duct tape. Maybe under new management because we stayed at the Bayfield.
Make you pay $100 deposit and will look for anything they can to keep it, if they cant find anything they just make something up. Fridge didnt work, there was dirty socks in the bathroom, i had the a/c on and it leaked water so when i got up in the morning i stepped right on to a soaking wet ice cold floor. Do not stay here this hotel caters to druggies and prositutes.
Decent for the money but they have a lot of problems with their doors and the hot tub and pool need extreme renos the jets fly everywhere. The staff are extremely lazy to the point I had to yell.
Be very careful staying here. The staff at the front desk are not friendly and do not greet you. The pool was out of towels so told the front desk, she acted like I ruined her night cause she had to get 4 towels. In our room the air did not work so hot and stuffy. The toilet leaked on the bathroom floor all weekend. Just gave us extra towels. The breakfast area was dirty, the garbages were overflowing. The only bright spot of the whole stay was the housekeepers actually we're friendly. Do not waste your money or time at this hotel. I have never written a review about a hotel before. That's how bad our stay was.
