Friendly front desk at checkin. Room ready prior to check in. No bartender available prior to 5:00pm. Extremely limited poolside food/beverage service despite high school kid trying his best. No dry towels at pool for kids to dry off despite having a very busy pool and water slide. Tried to order room service for family from in-suite menu and no answer at either “in room dining” or on-site restaurant numbers and eventually called front desk and was then cut off and told there was a “new menu” yet it was not available in room to order from. So we ordered delivery pizza rather then give the hotel 18% service fees for food. Very disappointing experience. Overall, not worth the money for a suite in Fargo based on service. Would not recommend for those looking for any hospitality beyond a chain hotel. Just very poor customer service for >$300/night for a suite.
Amazing hotel! Great service! The staff went above and beyond throughout my stay. What a wonderful place to spend my time away from home. Bar, restaurant, coffee, pool, everything we could want. The banquet crew was outstanding for our week of training. Thanks for taking great care of our whole corporate leadership team!
The lady that checked us in was rude. She had to finish folding reservation sheets instead of helping me check in and then she answered the phone. The double beds suck. Get queen sized beds. The pool was freezing cold. Tried the restaurant. It was average. The parmesan fries were very blah. Need more cheese and it should be melted onto the fries. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The asparagus was blah with absolutely no salt, no pepper or any other seasoning. The roasted chicken was very good. Very nice banquet facility.
Their recent renovation is beautiful! Lobby is spacious and open with a great on-site restaurant, bar and Starbucks counter in the lobby. Pool area includes a water slide and poolside bar, large fitness center and outdoor patio area. Changes have also been made to the guest rooms, which are always clean and comfortable!
We attended the Thanksgiving dinner at the Delta Hotel by Marriott. We did not have a reservation and surprisingly the wait time was only 30 minutes. The service while we were waiting was excellent. The food was amazing, only thing missing was all my relatives. The service at the table could have been better, waited a long time to receive our drinks, but everything else was perfect. I would attend again.
This brand is new to the Fargo area, but is easily one of the nicest hotels in the city. Staff is friendly and helpful and their location is great, close to shopping, and easily accessible from both interstates that run through Fargo. Would definitely recommend!
