Well $29 for 2 10in long x 3in wide x 2in tall and 2 small cups of soup is a little much. The sandwiches had 2 slivers if turkey and one sliver of cheddar cheese which I was charged an extra $1.25 for. It's just a little disappointing when you pay $36 to have food delivered and you end up getting turkey and cheese out of your own fridge to make it worth eating.
The food was very good. However the customer service was poor. I ordered a bowl of soup and lemonade. Later I decided to have a sandwich too. I was told that I could not get a sandwich unless I ordered soup with it. I pointed out that I had already ordered soup. I was told that this didn't count. I would just have to order another soup or I could not get a sandwich. I think this is a lousy policy and doesn't inspire me to ever go back. The employees appeared to be very cavalier in attitude about it with no real concern about customer service or to make any effort to come up with a solution. Probably won't go back and will probably talk to my friends about what happened here.
Took over an hour to get our food. When we did get it half our order was missing, wrong chips and the staff was very unsure of how to handle any of it. Usually we love the place.
Erbert and Gerberts has always been a favorite of mine. There was one in my hometown. So I was pretty happy to find one in Fargo. The food is always made fresh with the best ingredients. They have high standards for quality and are very consistent. Wether in my hometown or in Fargo I can enjoy my favorite sandwich made to perfection. The staff members are super friendly and really upbeat. They just do thing right.
Clean fast friendly service. Great soup.
