The Grain Designs (GD) Team is a wonderful group of professional wood & metal craftsmen ready to create a piece of furniture or accent piece you will love. Our relationship started when we asked GD if they would make window trim pieces for our new home from reclaimed wood. They said, "Sure!" and met with us to create the right sizes, stain and finish to blend perfectly with other wood in our home. Since then, GD has designed and built beautifully made, custom and functional pieces of furniture from reclaimed wood for our home, including a kitchen table with matching bench, a barn door, accent wall mantle and trim for our fireplace. We are currently working with them to create a matching buffet for our kitchen table....we can't wait to see the result. Blaine and the Grain Design crew are a wonderful FM business. They have some beautiful furniture and decor designed to make anyone's house feel complete. I love their state signs especially. They let you show off that North Dakota Pride (or MN) while looking very classy in your home. These guys were also great to work with when it came to remodeling the office. They created a very welcoming reception desk and the waiting room has one of their beautiful coffee tables as the center piece to the space. That wood is some good looking stuff! Love the work they do.
The Grain Design guys are stellar at their trade. They create beautiful products, provide fantastic customer service, and are simply a joy to work with. We plan to use them again many times in the future.
After shopping around at furniture stores and not finding anything that was the right size or uniquely designed, I decided to reach out to the Grain Designs guys for a custom coffee table. I knew that their product would check the boxes I was looking for, plus I love the fact that they use wood that's already had a home. They crafted a beautiful copper patina coffee table for me right in time for Thanksgiving. We've received tons of compliments on the piece and it fits absolutely perfectly into our home! I already knew they were good, but every day that I look at my table, I'm reminded just how talented they are! They provided great customer service, beautiful design and a quick turnaround. Now, I'll always turn to them when I'm looking to add new furniture pieces!
