Sat and waited over an hour for black Friday tv. Only had 40 available and the last one went to the person in front of me. Still a huge line behind me and the store not even open yet. If your going to make people stand in line in the rain for lengthy amounts of time... at the very least, don't run out of the items they want that fast! You should have enough for the people who are willing to show up early and wait!
It was good as always.. got what i needed.. just at times it seems like there talking down at u rather than talking at the same level.. probably cause my age.. but then they get shocked when i am actually technically way ahead of them.. just cause there young dont mean smarter.. my strong computer electronics background and degrees give me an edge.. even my kids that are in high school said dad why do they talk to u like ur stupid.. even though there nice the Condescending attitude is still there..
This place is as many have said before hit or miss. I just wanted to say all the people who complain about the geek squad and the overpriced plans, stay away. They make almost any excuse to not honor the warranty, I once had an interview for geek squad and the main aspect of the interview was to push the warranty to all customers. I believe in honoring a warranty, not pushing your terrible warranties on people. Each employee is required to sell a certain amount of warranties and if they miss it they get fired. All the workers at best buy are salesmen and women, I don't have a problem with people making money to survive so I don't fault them for that. This is about the best buy company itself, do i shop here still? If I need to I will but for the most part I order my stuff from reliable places like amazon who actually care about the customers and not how much money they can swindle from a customer.
Purchased a dryer from best buy a year and a half ago. Our salesman was great and delivery went smoothly. Fast forward to present day and it needs servicing and they say that they won't touch it because we didn't purchase the geek squad plan. Totally willing to pay what it takes to get it fixed and they won't touch it. What a joke! Apparently never purchase a Samsung appliance because no one wants to fix them.
Best Buy is the first place I look for everything. I just bought an iPhone X and the service was GREAT! I bought a vacuum last year and purchased the Extended Warranty, the belt went out and they gave me a new vacuum; Super Easy.
