Go here for their monthly game night a free event to bring friends and meet new ones. If unsure of a game to play don't feel shy to go up to the bookshelf to try one of their demos. Or bring your favorite from home. Don't worry about snacks since they are for sale at the front. The door prizes are usually pretty awesome too. They will call off ticket numbers in order to win a full copy of a new game so make sure to get a ticket from the snack stand when you visit. Sometimes in order to win a new game you will have to complete "achievements" such as play a game with three new people or play three new games.
Paradox has expanded significantly in recent years, so if you visited in your nerdy youth you'll be surprised by what you find now. It's a nice, spacious, clean space that caters to everyone from comics fans to board and card gamers with ample space for the games they sell to be played and an active community of players who would be happy to run through a game with you.
