The staff is amazing and the quality of care is some of the best. However, the surgical waiting room is a joke. It is wide open, no privacy, near very busy elevators. When asked for a more private comfortable place we were offered pillows and blankets. Sure, I've only had an hour of sleep. I want to be able to cry in private because i haven't been able to do so. I don't want people gawking as the get off the elevator. WORST surgical waiting room I've ever been in.
Highly reccomend Dr. Linn! He is patient, a great listener, and a great communicator he is also very professional, careful and gentle. Had a wonderful experience having my first child and checkup with Dr. Linn
My mom was admitted tonight (7/7/17) for pneumonia. She is on pain medication, every 4hrs for her back. (Complete lumbar and thorasic fusion) she is now 9 hrs past her last dose time!! We have been waiting for 3 hrs for the hospitalist to stop in to access mom and order her pain medication. I have spoke to the nurses 3 times, they have paged the Dr 3 times with no response. Very disappointed, this is unacceptable!
We've had all of our children here, even after the opening of the new Sanford Tower. The staff in the OB is friendly and helpful. They made all of our experiences great ones! I've seen previous responses of poor wait times, but it's a hospital, not McDonald's. I always felt the staff was doing their best to get you helped and on your way.
Far beyond my best hospital experience to date. Ive had a lot of surgeries for someone my age, first time here. I am admittedly a big baby when it comes to this stuff and I let them all know how uncomfortable and nervous I was, and about problems I've had in the past especially with anesthesia. The nursing staff and anesthesiologist could not have possibly been more accomodating and helpful to me. I wish I could remember all of their names because they all deserve major credit, especially the nurses. I am now resting very comfortably at home and I know that is in big part to the exceptional care I received at the hospital.
