The two campgrounds are outdated, but may (as I understand it) receive a remodel in the near future. The two large shelters and three small shelters provide more than adequate options to escape the hot sun of summer or the cool rain of spring or fall.

Take it from someone who has spent countless hours in Lindenwood Park, it is the gem of the Fargo Park District. Unlike other parks in the community, Lindenwood has the advantage of square acreage which provides a rich diversity of small ecological niches; one more different or distinct from the next.

Nice area to take a walk. I finally got to cross the bridge that I have seen multiple times! It is literally just a bridge, I don't know what I was so excited about.. Anyways, its nice for walking, bike riding, and just getting some fresh air!

To those who have avoided this warm and loving park because of rumors of 'bad actors' inhabiting the space, let me assure you, I saw very little of this in my extensive time spent here. There are the occasional homeless person in the park, as well as, the random speaker enthusiast who visits; but no more than what is represented in the general population at large.

A great place to go! If you want to go for a run there are designated paths for that. If you want to play Frisbee with your friends there's plenty of room for that. If you want to play fetch with your dog you can do that too here. Plenty of space to be outside. Relatively quiet considering the interstate is only a half mile away. All the times we've been there it has been nicely kept up and cleaned. I feel as though it would be a safe place to bring kids. I really only have good things to say about this place!

Went for the Holiday Lights Parade. Well worth the $5 donation, excellent displays as usual and a whole bunch more this year, the longest it's taken to drive through the parade in years!

Thank you for bringing kayaks to Lindenwood!

I tried out the new kayak rental at Lindenwood park yesterday. Kayak rental is new within the last few weeks. Along with the kayak you get a ve two-wheel trailer to make easy work of the short walk over to the kayak launch. There is a launch dock with a roller system that allows users to enter they kayak on the dock and easily roll the kayak into and out of the river without getting your feet wet. I enjoyed an hour out on the river and am looking forward to going out again before the end of the season.

Some of you may have noticed the lack of a perfect score and my rationale is that all public services/utilities/etc will never be absolutely perfect in their function. However, they will always be a perfect reflection of the values exhibited by the community for the community.

The park has had bike rental for awhile, but has recently added the new option of kayak rentals.
