Great beer, Raspberry Stones Throw was a nice treat.
We went by on the 3rd of July, and even though they were officially closed for the holiday, Jeff served us a round of beers at happy hour prices. He let us pick the music and then gave us a sample of an apricot beer they were releasing the next week. The guys there were super friendly and fun to talk to. On our way out the door they gave us two growlers as a wedding gift for my brother. They were kind beyond my wildest expectations. Since they were closed, I went in there hoping they would let us buy a few cans of beer for the road, instead we got excellent service, great tasting beer, and a wedding gift. I would have given 5 stars for the beer alone. Definitely on my list of favorite breweries.
The original local brewery, Fargo Brewing Company has been rocking the local scene with delicious brews since 2009. The taproom is usually bustling with activity and they host a lot of neat events. A few of my personal favorites include yoga on tap, drunken spelling bees and Trivia Mafia.
Lately, they've been hosting more live music, which works well in the spacious taproom and in the area outside. (Another plus: you never having to worry about parking here!)
One of the best places to get local brew and bring your pet! The Iron horse is one of the best in Fargo.
Pro tip: as a regular at all the FM breweries and a lover of all things hoppy, the original Woodchipper will always be at the top of my to-go list. Cheers!
Great local brewery. They get creative every Tuesday with a flavor "infusion" to one of their regular beers. Definitely a must-see experience for the infusion alone.
