Barnes & Noble is an awesome bookstore!! They feature everything from classic literature to how-to books to manga to magazines. As well as selling books for all ages and of all genres, this B&N also has toys, music, and gifts. The Fargo B&N store has a Starbucks and a public restroom. I could spend forever in this store. There is something here for everyone.
Love this place. Every book you could want & if not found have help to try & order or find it. Toys, puzzles. Kids area with books. Plus Starbucks! Have a snack! Thinking I wouldn't mind being locked in there. Lol
Nice store - totally awesome graphic novel section. BUT... The music is horrible, and way too loud. And more importantly... If you have a Nook, or any technical issue with your Nook - DO NOT EXPECT HELP FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are not familiar with these devices at all, and in order to get help, you must make an actual appoint with "Nook Specialist", and then come back later. My mate and I spent a lot of money on two "Nook Glowlights", and the service is HORRIBLE. Think twice before you by an e-reader from this store >;-[
They don't even try anymore. The book displays are crowded, the mysteries are treated casually, there's no place to sit, books of regional interest are ignored, and the DVD section is haphazardly arranged and poorly stocked. The two long-time employees do their best against antagonistic corporate policies.
I will never go back. Not only did they not have the book in stock that their website assured me they did, they refused to match the price of a second book that was available across the street at Target for $4.50 less. If you reserve a book online and they have it, you will be charged the much higher in store price. They don't seem to value my time or custom so screw you B&N!
