(I am aware that I am writing the same review fur this place. As the employees love to remind customers that the salons are affiliated. I received the same negative attitudes at this salon.)RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Which is absolutely unfortunate because 9 times out of 10, they do a beautiful job on my nails, but their attitudes are horrible. Completely lacking in customer service skills. I feel myself bracing against negative attitudes before I even walk in the door! I'll leave with beautiful nails but not without combating negative attitudes!
My mom, sister and I had three pedicure appointments at this nail salon and after our experience, we are never going back. They had started my sister and I but my mom waited 10-15 before someone came to start her pedicure. Once they did begin her pedicure, they rushed the whole thing to try and catch up with my sister and I. His massage for my mom was horribly rushed so it was not relaxing. Half way through my pedicure my pedicurist switched with someone else and they rushed painting my nails. I had nail polish on the side of my toes. Once we were done they rushed us out the door. I had a lady come and pull the toe dividers out from between my toes and then ask for a payment right then and there. She was not polite about it and very pushy/rude. Horrible 1st impression and we will not be returning.
Love the techs there. Always get what I ask for. I got my first facial and leg wax there and Holly was great, efficient!
I went to Lux Spa for the second time today, the first time in their new remodeled location. Overall, it was ok. I felt that the staff were friendly. I went for a gel manicure, which turned out pretty well. I felt that it was a bit expensive for what I got (a solid color with a bit of gold glitter on the ring fingers). My technician was friendly, but did not talk much for the second half of my mani. The technician also didnt put that nice pink lotion on my right had closer to my fingernails, so it looked like my fingers were really dry even after a fresh, new set of nails. Overall, it was nice, but I will most likely go somewhere else for my next gel manicure.
